Summary of Job Duties:

Prepares, manages and executes the OEM Account Plan in alignment with achieving the Department’s vision of becoming the premiere component supplier to the respective OEM/OESs, increasing revenue and market share, thereby ensuring long term and profitable growth for the Company.

Qualifications Required:

Qualification 1: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, Engineering degree a plus.

Qualification 2: Five or more years of related training and experience in sales of industry related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualification 3: Strong communication skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures professionally; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, associates, clients and customers.

Qualification 4: Technical aptitude and product knowledge: ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of relevant product offerings and continue to increase that knowledge base. Ability to grasp technical concepts (design and manufacturing) related to our products and how they the interface with OEM chassis. Able to conduct meetings with OEM/OES engineering, quality and operation personnel and act as an effective liaison with internal staff. Application engineering experience is preferred but not required.

Qualification 5: Sales Skills: A well-developed understanding of effective selling skills and the ability to employ them to secure business. The demonstrated ability to adapt and sell at a variety of levels – dealers and fleets, OEM/OES marketing, product planning, engineering and purchasing functions. Strategic selling – the ability to learn and understand the decision process and decision points in complex organizations, develop an effective plan to address these considerations, and execute the plan. Qualification

6: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Qualification 7: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualification 8: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Qualification 9: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Candidate Travel Requirements: Moderate travel required, including overnight. Up to 40-50%.
